Introducing GrymUI

Well I guess it was time. I’m so annoyed at all of these World of Warcraft UI Collections that are so bloated that they interfere with the game. My goal is to collect the absolute bare minimum that I need to make my gaming more enjoyable.

Among the mods that I’ve incorporated:

  • Telo’s Lootlink
  • Telo’s InfoBar
  • Telo’s QuickLoot
  • Telo’s SelfCast
  • Perl Unit Frames (Player/Party replacement frames)
  • All In One Inventory (all bags open in one, scalable - may be replaced in future)
  • Gazmik Fizzwidget’s AdSpace
  • Gazmik Fizzwidget’s AutoCraft
  • Gazmik Fizzwidget’s Guildentipper
  • Mobinfo2
  • EquipCompare
  • LoadIT 11000.1

To be added in the future:

  • Auctioneer/Enchantrix/Gatherer
  • Map/Instance Map mod
  • CT_Raid
  • Interface Bars replacement
  • Benecast/GroupButtons/QuickCast helper

Patch day!

I guess I should be bitching and moaning, but I just don’t feel like it.  I’ve been playing around with different individual UI addons trying to see which ones I can get to work.  So far I’ve loaded 5 packages, All-in-one-Inventory, Perl’s custom frames, myAddon, ResetUI, and EquipCompare.  I’m still looking for an action bar replacement, and for auctioneer/lootlink/fizzwidgets to get working.  Once that happens I’ll see about puting together my own little package of addons for a minimalistic set.  I’ll see about putting the ones I have together into a zip archive to share.

On themes

I’ve been playing around with the theme here for this blog, and have basicly decided that I like having the theme as it is as a contrast from the color scheme of the main site.  Too much darkness really doesn’t go over all that well with me.  Other than that, nothing really pressing to write before I have to leave work.  Updates later…

When the police come out Part 2

Well it appears that the ordeal is not yet over? Somehow, both my wife and the two ‘wonderfull’ deputies somehow failed to notice that her rear License plate was missing on the car? This would go much further towards explaining the coincidence of how a car matching her car’s description and matching the license plate would somehow be involved in this type of an incident? I guess this serves as a lesson, always check to make sure that your license plates are on your car!

When the police come out to play

What is it about life? Had an interesting thing happen last night. The cops had shown up on a report that the wife’s car had been seen committing a drive-off from a gas station. Supposedly the owner of the station had seen someone matching my description driving her car, with her license plate numbers. What worries me is I was here at work, and she was in class! We went to the Sheriff’s office to talk to the investigating officers, but I’m still worried about the whole situation. Updates to follow….

Keystone Kapers

I’m sitting here at work wondering what the heck is going on? It seems that our systems here are having what one could call a nervous breakdown? The phone systems are delivering up a ton of dead air calls, we are unable to transfer callers to the appropriate departments when we are unable to resolve their issues, and we are even having problems with the computer systems? I don’t know what else to do about it? I guess I just have to grin and bear it.

Well that is it for now, maybe more later.

It’s Wednesday and ….

I really don’t want to be here at work. That doesn’t even count the number of people I deal with that just don’t know how to use their own brains! Take for example one of my coworkers. This gentleman seriously was wondering if a cellphone that covers the 900MHz & 1900MHz GSM bands would work on the 850MHz band. And the brain killing aspect of the whole conversation was that he was the one who told me what frequencies the phone supported right before asking his question!

Something else interesting… Third Party Providers for cell phone content, I don’t know how many times I deal with customers complaining and stating that they never signed up for the service. I don’t know if it’s just the sheer number of people, or if even it’s true… but something seems strange with that.

Just the normal collection of crazy calls, crazier callers, and incredibly crazy situations.
