I actually managed to drag myself out to the Easter cookout over at John’s house, with the whole group from World of Warcraft. It was slightly stressful in that I know most of these people only as their character names in WoW, not by their real names/faces. I had a lot of difficulty in trying to remember their names when I was introduced to them. I guess I just feel/felt overwhelmed a bit. It was nice to see them all though, but I didn’t know what to say to make conversation. It was that whole disconnection I have. I only relate to most of them through the game where I basically am a character, not as myself, in that I portray a persona. What do I say when it’s me? So I just sat there people watching, trying to understand the people around me. It didn’t help that I was tired, my sleep schedule was messed up from having to wake up at 11am to go to the Dr. with the wife. I did manage to catch a bit of sleep, but not enough to make a big difference. I did like seeing little Matt & being able to meet Xavier for the first time (John & Marianne’s kids). And being able to see Brian & Jamie before they move to California was nice.
I guess I just need to accept that I have difficulty communicating and leave it at that. It’s depressing though, in that this always leads me to wonder what is defective with me that causes it to be this way.

Well decided to get back on the hobby horse and logged back into WoW to see how things where. It’s been awhile, and while I needed the time away, I’ve also missed the social aspect of the game. So I guess I’m back! See you all around WoW!

Well I guess it was time. I’m so annoyed at all of these World of Warcraft UI Collections that are so bloated that they interfere with the game. My goal is to collect the absolute bare minimum that I need to make my gaming more enjoyable.
Among the mods that I’ve incorporated:
- Telo’s Lootlink
- Telo’s InfoBar
- Telo’s QuickLoot
- Telo’s SelfCast
- Perl Unit Frames (Player/Party replacement frames)
- All In One Inventory (all bags open in one, scalable - may be replaced in future)
- Gazmik Fizzwidget’s AdSpace
- Gazmik Fizzwidget’s AutoCraft
- Gazmik Fizzwidget’s Guildentipper
- Mobinfo2
- EquipCompare
- LoadIT 11000.1
To be added in the future:
- Auctioneer/Enchantrix/Gatherer
- Map/Instance Map mod
- CT_Raid
- Interface Bars replacement
- Benecast/GroupButtons/QuickCast helper

I guess I should be bitching and moaning, but I just don’t feel like it. I’ve been playing around with different individual UI addons trying to see which ones I can get to work. So far I’ve loaded 5 packages, All-in-one-Inventory, Perl’s custom frames, myAddon, ResetUI, and EquipCompare. I’m still looking for an action bar replacement, and for auctioneer/lootlink/fizzwidgets to get working. Once that happens I’ll see about puting together my own little package of addons for a minimalistic set. I’ll see about putting the ones I have together into a zip archive to share.
